GCSE - the new qualification will begin being taught in 2016

The Government has reformed GCSE music. Music was included as one of the first GCSEs to be redesigned. The new GCSEs will start being taught from September 2016.

Each of the four awarding organisations (exam boards AQA, Edexcel/Pearson, OCR, and WJEC) have published their new GCSEs. To help you prepare for September 2016, we have worked with Dr Alison Daubney to produce a comparison chart of the four GCSE courses on offer.
